Narrow rosy-lavender flower spikes make excellent vertical accents in the garden. These native plants are drought tolerant and attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer, however, don’t seem to find them appealing. They are long blooming and will rebloom if cut back.
Prefers full sun and moist, well-drained soils. Tolerant of drought, summer heat and humidity. Avoid wet soils in winter.
