Hosta ‘Mini Skirt’ Plantain Lily

Hosta ‘Mini Skirt’ is a miniature Plantain Lily whose thick leaves emerge blue-green with a wide yellow margin. They are twisted and cupped, creating a little mound of swirling skirts. Hosta ‘Mini Skirt’ has pale lavender and purple blooms in midsummer. ‘Mini Skirt’ is a favorite little Hosta that maintains its good looks all season.

Hosta ‘Mini Skirt’ prefers partial to full shade and moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Hosta will grow in ordinary garden soil and withstand drought, but they are most beautiful when provided consistent moisture. They will tolerate clay soil and can be grown under black walnut trees.
