Bring a touch of North America’s prairies to your garden with Geum trifolium Rose of the Rockery.
This native perennial has a distinct appeal with purple to rose, nodding flowers in spring. After the blooms are finished, Geum trifolium unfurls its wispy, pink-gray seed heads which give it another common name, “Prairie Smoke”.
For best performance, plant Geum trifolium Rose of the Rockery in full sun and dry to average soil. Good drainage is a must. It is drought-tolerant once established.
