Eupatorium dubium ‘Little Pye’ is a miniature Joe Pye perfect for small gardens or containers. Only 10-12″ tall, instead of 5′ like most Joy Pyes, it features the same dusky pink flowers so attractive to butterflies and bees. With blooms from July well into fall, and attractive seed heads in winter, ‘Little Pye’ offers garden interest for much of the year.
‘Little Pye’ is easily grown in full sun to light shade in average soil with consistent moisture. It is a cultivated variety of Eupatorium dubium, a native of Eastern North America, found primarily along riverbanks, moist thickets, and sandy swamps.
