Berlandiera lyrata has a uniquely wonderful chocolate fragrance, earning it the name “Chocolate Flower”. It has bright yellow, daisy-like blooms from May to July.

Berlandiera lyrata Chocolate Flower is native to much of mid-west and southwest USA, where it naturally grows in plains and grasslands. When grown in a garden setting, it must have very well-draining soil. It is incredibly drought tolerant.
